When June rolls around and it is hot and dry, the wild ones sometimes struggle. So when the coyotes come around looking mange-y, I put out a wash tub with a mild mix of Pop's Lemongrass & Neem and 20 Mule Team Borax for them to cool off and soak in, right next to clean drinking water, and most of the time, within about 2 weeks, their coats begin to grow in, and look better.

A bottle of Pop's Lemongrass & Neem Insect Away shampoo showed up in our tack room the other day, and I confiscated it to try on our horses. Wow! To my surprise, it did keep the bugs away, with the added bonus of a soft, shiny coat. Be careful though, you might just get hooked on the wonderfully refreshing lemongrass scent. Your Aloe & Lavender Itch Rescue shampoo has also been very effective for horses with bug bites and itchy tails. Love the aromatherapy benefits!
